Most of our operators want to see the total number of guests and the total cost of a package, not individual line items invoiced - can the check boxes for the Invoice templates be updated/adjusted to remove the text from within the body of the invoice? Or could the 'Items' be updated/upgraded to allow for a group, not just one revenue line. We are in tourism and we really need a displayed package price on the invoice only, the revenue is derived from across a number of fields, but that causes confusion to the customer when displayed on their invoice.

Has anyone had any success in hiding the individual lines on their invoice for clients within Xero? Or is the creation of the invoice for the client who requires a total mount only in another software program altogether? I noticed this thread has been running for a few years now. And the ability to add a custom description for the invoice (basically just a summary). A checkbox to allow just the total invoice amount to be displayed and for the itemised invoice lines that make up the total to be suppressed. And seems that there are a bunch of folk who need it! In the spirit of community contribution I've done a mock-up of how this can easily be handled in the invoice template editor. It will help if you want to include comments on the invoice in Xero or if you want to include re-coding lines (that net to zero) for accounting purposes that you don't want shown on the printed invoice.ДЄ BIG +1 for this. Obviously, if you hide rows that make up the total then the invoice won't balance! I also have a solution that simply blanks the content of the row (or a column value) if the Item Code or Description matches the preset value, but this results in unnecessary empty rows in the table. Currently it will allow up to 5 consecutive hidden rows (but this can easily be changed). OK team - After several hours of research and testing I have an almost perfect solution!!! I have created a template that will suppress the printing of a line in the transaction line table (except the last line - can't work around this, and it creates a visible error if you try) where the Item Code is set to HIDE (this can be changed).
